Tournaments
On May 25 to 28, 2012, the EWBC will host its Seventh Annual Baltimore-Washington Diamond Classic. This year's tournament features the defending national champion Chicago Pioneers, five time national champions the New England Women's Red Sox, the Chicago Storm, the South Bend Blue Sox, the East Coast Yankees, Team Toronto, and the DC Thunder.
Games will be played on Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28. Games begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at both Bachman Sports Complex in Glen Burnie, MD and Joe Cannon Stadium in Hanover, MD (across from Arundel Mills Mall). The Championship game will be held on Monday, May 28 at 10am at Joe Cannon Stadium. Admission to all tournament games is free. See full schedule below.
The EWBC will host a BBQ at 6:30 Sunday evening at Joe Cannon Stadium, which is open to the entire league, family and friends. Catered by Michael's Eighth Avenue, this year's menu includes your choice of entree (hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich or veggie burger), salad, 2 sides, dessert and tea/lemonade. Dinner will be followed by a special awards ceremony and the Diamond Classic's famous "Skills" Competition, featuring a series of baseball and non-baseball related contests as well as kids events. A VERY limited number of tickets will be available for purchase during the tournament, so you are encouraged to secure your tickets early.
Tickets can be ordered through this website. Instructions are below. Pre-Ordered tickets can be picked up at BASES (713 E. Ordnance Rd, Glen Burnie, MD) on Friday 5/25 between 3pm and 7pm; on Saturday and Sunday at Bachman Sports Complex and Joe Cannon Stadium between 8:30 am and 5:00pm and at the BBQ at Joe Cannon Stadium beginning at 6:30pm.

After 5/17, children 10 and under, $12 and adults, $20.
When making your BBQ ticket purchase through the website please provide the following information:
1. Name of person picking up tickets
2. Number of adult and children's tickets needed
3. Whether you are requesting any vegetarian meals (and if so, how many)
To order from the website, click on the "Contact Us" link at the top of this page, then on Buy Now. Enter your name and payment info, and your order details (see below for the info we need) in the "description" box. If you run out of space in the description box, you can provide additional details about your order in the "instructions to seller" box that appears toward to end of the transaction.
