Eastern Women's Baseball Conference
Flames – Eastern Women's Baseball Conference

The Virginia Flames are based in Northern Virginia, primarily in Fairfax County, but the team also includes players from DC and Maryland. Our home field is at McLean High School in McLean, VA. Our players come from all walks of life – teachers, scientists, engineers, military, etc. – and several different age groups or skill levels. The team is proud to have had several Team USA players in its lineup; they have been an inspiration to rookies and veterans alike. Several of our players are members of the EWBC tournament team – DC Thunder – and some also coach youth softball and/or baseball.

The Flames believe that balancing the recreational (fun & fitness) and the competitive nature of baseball is key to the team’s success. All of our team members – both players and coaches – generously contribute their time to train players seeking to improve their baseball skills. This sense of family is central to the Flames identity. Established in 1994, our team-first philosophy has contributed to a long record of success on the field, including multiple league championships.

The Flames always welcome new players who are ready to commit – experienced ball players, or those eager to try baseball for the first time. If you are interested in being a part of the team please contact Joann Milliken or Jackie Greco: hittheball@att.nett / grecoj16@gmail.com.
